Use & Care
Use & Care
- Heat your pan gently on low to medium heat. Taking it slow helps protect the enamel and ensures your bread bakes evenly every time.
- Wooden or silicone utensils are best—they prevent scratching the enamel surface and keep your pan looking pristine.
- While dishwasher-safe, we recommend hand washing with warm, soapy water to preserve the enamel’s finish. Avoid metal sponges or abrasive scrubbers to prevent scratching.
- Use it confidently on stovetops and in ovens up to 500°F (260°C), offering versatile baking options.
- For stubborn stains, apply a baking soda paste, let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes, then gently scrub and rinse.
- Before storing, ensure your pan is dry. When stacking, place a soft cloth or pan protector between pieces to maintain a flawless finish.

Why You'll Love It
-
Steam-Baked Perfection
The close-fitting, domed lid traps natural steam as the dough bakes, recreating the conditions of a professional steam-injected oven. The result: a crisp, blistered crust and a soft, evenly aerated crumb every time.
-
Even Heat, Every Corner
Heavy cast iron surrounds your dough with steady, uniform heat, ensuring even browning from edge to centre. The thick walls retain warmth for consistent results — ideal for longer ferments and high-hydration doughs.
-
Effortless Care and Versatility
A smooth, non-reactive enamel surface releases bread easily and cleans up in seconds — no seasoning or special maintenance needed. Use it closed for sourdough, open for sandwich loaves, or repurpose each half for roasting or reheating.

Bought for my husband’s birthday. Love the loaf pan shape for making sourdough bread. Bread came out fantastic. Easy to clean. Love
So far so good. Only had it for a couple weeks and used it twice for my sourdough loaves.
It’s a beautiful, versatile loaf pan, but it is NOT seasoned or enameled on the inside like a le creuset would be. We have to use parchment every time.
Purchased in order to have a loaf instead of boule bread and wow. It works great!
Made a nice loaf of sourdough bread Turned out very well Pans are smaller than I thought but sourdough dosnt keep very long anyways. Beautifully made very durable
FAQs

Where are these pans made?
Our cookware is made in China in trusted facilities using high-quality cast iron and durable enamel.
We maintain strict safety and quality standards, including:
- Enamel tested to be free from harmful metals like lead and cadmium
- Careful inspections for a high-quality finish
- Cast iron designed for reliable everyday use
Our manufacturing partners follow responsible practices and quality systems.
Slight variations in enamel color or finish may occur, reflecting the craftsmanship of each pan.
Should I buy a 9x5 or 13x5 loaf pan?
It depends on how you bake. A 9x5 pan is the standard, perfect for everyday baking and most recipes without adjustments. A 13x5 pan is ideal if you want larger loaves for family gatherings or bake sales—but keep in mind you’ll need to scale recipes up to maintain the proper loaf height and texture.
How do I properly clean and care for my cookware?
Hand washing with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge is best. Avoid harsh detergents and abrasive scrubbers that can wear down the enamel. Always let your pan cool before washing to prevent cracking from sudden temperature changes.
How does enameled cast iron perform compared to traditional cast iron?
Enameled cast iron offers the same excellent heat retention and even cooking but without the hassle of seasoning. The enamel surface is non-reactive, so you can cook acidic foods worry-free. It’s easier to clean and doesn’t rust, while still delivering that classic cast iron performance.
What if the enamel chips?
Minor chips won’t affect cooking, but deep ones can expose the cast iron beneath, which might be prone to rust. To keep your cookware looking its best, avoid banging it around and use wooden, nylon, or silicone utensils. Hand wash gently with warm, soapy water after the pan has cooled.
What makes your enamel coating special?
Our cookware features a durable 3-layer enamel finish. It starts with a base layer fused tightly to the cast iron, followed by one or two extra layers that add thickness and toughness. The glossy top layer gives a smooth, non-reactive surface that’s easy to clean and looks great in any kitchen.
This multi-layer process means your pan resists rust, locks in moisture for tender, flavorful cooking, and handles heat well without cracking or wearing down.
Do I need to season enameled cast iron?
Nope. The smooth, glass-like enamel coating means you don’t need to season it like traditional cast iron. It protects the pan from rust and makes cleaning a breeze.
Can I put my enameled cookware in the dishwasher?
While some enamel cookware is labeled dishwasher-safe, we recommend hand washing to protect the finish and keep your pan looking new for years.
