Simple Materials, No Synthetic Non-Stick Coatings
Cookware should be made from materials you understand and trust.
Our cookware is made from cast iron, with either an enamel finish or a traditional oil-seasoned cooking surface. We don't use synthetic non-stick coatings.
Enameled Cast Iron
Glass enamel is fused to the cast iron to create a smooth, non-reactive cooking surface that requires no seasoning and is easy to clean.
Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron
Pre-seasoned with 100% vegetable oil and ready to cook with from the start. With regular use and proper care, the seasoning will continue to develop over time.

Use & Care
Use & Care
Oven Safe up to 500°F (260°C)
Suitable for braising, roasting, baking and finishing dishes in the oven up to 500°F (260°C).
Use Low to Medium Heat
Cast iron retains heat well, so high heat is rarely needed for everyday cooking. Preheat gradually and avoid leaving the empty braiser over high heat for extended periods.
No Seasoning Required
The enameled cooking surface does not require seasoning. Wooden, silicone or nylon utensils are recommended to help protect the enamel.
Avoid Thermal Shock
Do not add cold water to a very hot braiser. Allow it to cool before washing.
Hand Wash Recommended
Wash with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or non-abrasive brush. Soak stubborn food residue in warm water before cleaning rather than using abrasive pads.
Use Oven Mitts When Hot
The braiser, lid and handles become very hot during cooking. Always use dry oven mitts when handling hot cookware.
How we keep our prices fair
How we keep our prices fair
Cookware sold through traditional retail channels can pass through several layers before reaching the customer, including distributors, wholesalers and retailers. Each layer adds its own costs and margin.
We keep our supply chain simpler. We work directly with experienced cast iron manufacturers and sell directly to our customers, without traditional wholesale and retail markups.
By keeping those layers to a minimum, we can offer well-made cast iron cookware without traditional retail mark-ups.

I can't believe how versatile this Dutch Oven is. This size is perfect for my fritattas and keto shepherds pie!
This is a smaller size covered enameled cast iron braiser pan, 2.25-qt capacity but still a good size. Many similar braiser pans are 3.8-qt or 3.3-qt. This pan is large enough for many one-pan recipes and cooking meats, but not large enough for some recipes such as large chili recipes. This pan has some features that the very expensive brands have and I like it so far.The base is flat and fits my largest cooktop eyes well, almost covering them. I also have the Amazon Basics 3.3-qt braiser pan which I also like a lot, but it is bigger and much heavier, even though I'm used to heavy cast iron. This one is much easier for me to handle and I therefore prefer it, if the recipe will fit. See photos for comparison. Both are good values, seem to be decent quality, and are much, much less expensive than the famous brands. So far I've not had any problems with chipping (if they chip in normal use I'll try to return them), nor with food sticking to them. As recommended, I use low to medium heat on the stovetop; high heat can be used in the oven. The lids are oven safe too. Cast iron is heavy, so of course I'm very careful to set the pan down gently on my glass cooktop and not slide it around.Clean-up has been a breeze in the sink using Dawn dish detergent. I use silicone spoons and spatulas with them as recommended. The rims appear to be dark bare cast iron, so as with any cast iron don't put them in the dishwasher. I'm glad the rim is not enameled as that would be a place more likely to chip. If storing for an extended time, I'll rub a bit of cooking oil on the bare iron rims to avoid any rust. If used frequently this probably isn't necessary if dried completely before putting away. The dark cyan color is similar to a dark teal, although it appears more greenish than blue to me. (I was hoping for more blue, but it's a lovely color regardless.) I like that the color graduates to an even darker tone at the edge of the lid and bottom of the pan, and it has circular accents on the lid, as many of the $300 braisers do. The lid also has the little bumps inside that are supposed to distribute moisture onto the food more evenly. I've had this pan for almost a month and so far I'm very pleased and impressed with it. I'm not sure what a similar sized much more expensive pan could do that this one can't, unless it proves to be less durable after more use.If any problems occur later, especially chipping in normal use, I'll try to come back and edit the review. So far so good.

I love this pan. My colors are cream and gold, so ordered a set of golden replacements knobs. The first night I made a crustless quiche. It baked perfectly. My coworker thought it was as a Le Cruiset pan. It is a good dupe if you are looking for a great enameled cast iron pan for a reasonable price, this is the one.
This pan is not what I wanted. It is very nice but I will be returning it. Very heavy. It would be great for anyone looking for heavy duty pans.
I just brought the new Cuisinart air fryer and oven. And most of braise cast iron pan doesn’t fit. If you looking for something small that fit this kind of oven. This one will do the job. The quality is not the top, not too heavy, a few scratches around the edge, but is good value for the price!!! We shall see how is it hold up. I will update my review after a few use.

Great piece of kit
Looks cool as well
I absolutely love this cast-iron pan! The purple color is beautiful and looks even better in person. More importantly, it cooks beautifully. It heats evenly, holds the heat well, and has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of cookware. It feels very sturdy and well made, and the enameled finish makes it easy to use and clean. I’m extremely happy with both the quality and the gorgeous color. I would definitely recommend it!
In love...
Purchased two in different sizes because I couldn't decide on colour, and they are perfection. Love cooking this way, Cooktown to over and back again... straight to table... serve... lid back on with any left overs, into the fridge. Bang on, thanks team!
It’s great except I really wanted it in white to match my other cast iron but it wasn’t available.
Great pan thank you
The best purchase I've made....the dish is beautiful as well as a perfect fit for my new benchtop oven!! Lovely easy and quick delivery, thank you:-)
I am very pleased. With service and quality.
Thank you.
I absolutely love my new cast iron casserole.
Thank you for the great service love my new pan
I love my new pan.. thank you
Lucina Conn
It works beautifully.
I now have both sizes and if a larger was offered I would probably have three purple braisers.
My wife loves it. Excellent quality.
Everything about this braiser is beautiful even the way it cooks.
Great
It heats up quickly and cooks the food all the way through in less time than other methods. I really love the color I chose as it gives my kitchen a lift but is still a gentle color on the eyes.
Frequently asked questions
What Is a Braiser, and How Is It Different from a Dutch Oven or Skillet?
A braiser combines a wide cooking surface with shallow sides and a fitted lid. The wide base gives food more room to brown in a single layer, while the lower sides make it easier to turn food and reduce sauces.
Compared with a deep Dutch oven, it is better suited to dishes that need more surface area and less liquid.
Which Size Should I Choose: 2.25 qt or 3 qt?
The 2.25 qt size works well for 1–2 people, smaller meals and side dishes.
Choose the 3 qt if you usually cook for 2–4 people, want more room for one-pan meals, or prefer having leftovers.
What Can I Cook in a Braiser?
It works well for chicken thighs, meatballs, pasta dishes, curries, risotto, braised vegetables and other one-pan meals.
Use it uncovered when you want to brown food or reduce a sauce, then add the lid when you want to retain more moisture.
Can I Use a Braiser as an Everyday Pan?
Yes. The wide base and shallow sides make it useful for sautéing, shallow frying, sauces, pasta dishes and one-pan meals, not just traditional braises.
A skillet is still more convenient for quick frying, while a deep Dutch oven gives you more capacity for soups, stews and dishes with a lot of liquid.
Can I Sear on the Stovetop and Finish in the Oven?
Yes. You can brown or sauté ingredients on the stovetop, add the remaining ingredients or liquid, then move the whole braiser to the oven to finish cooking.
The braiser and enameled cast iron lid are oven safe up to 500°F (260°C).
Is It Suitable for Induction and Other Stovetops?
Yes. It can be used on gas, electric, ceramic and induction cooktops.
Cast iron holds heat well, so low to medium heat is enough for most cooking. On glass or ceramic cooktops, lift the braiser rather than sliding it across the surface.
Is the Enamel Non-Stick?
No. The enamel does not use a synthetic non-stick coating.
For foods that tend to stick, use a little oil or butter and cook over low to medium heat. When searing meat, give it time to brown before trying to turn or move it.
Do I Need to Season It? Can I Cook Acidic Foods?
No seasoning is required. The enameled cooking surface is non-reactive, so you can cook tomato sauces, wine-based braises and other acidic foods without the maintenance required for bare cast iron.
How Heavy Is the Braiser?
The 2.25 qt braiser weighs approximately 7.8 lb, while the 3 qt weighs approximately 8.8 lb.
The two side handles give you room for a secure two-handed grip. Always use dry oven mitts when handling the braiser while hot.
