Safe, Pure & Non-Toxic

Simple Materials, No Synthetic Non-Stick Coatings

Cookware should be made from materials you understand and trust.

Our cookware is made from cast iron, with either an enamel finish or a traditional oil-seasoned cooking surface. We don't use synthetic non-stick coatings.

Enameled Cast Iron

Glass enamel is fused to the cast iron to create a smooth, non-reactive cooking surface that requires no seasoning and is easy to clean.

Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron

Pre-seasoned with 100% vegetable oil and ready to cook with from the start. With regular use and proper care, the seasoning will continue to develop over time.

What You’re Cooking With

✓ Cast iron construction
✓ Enamel or vegetable oil-seasoned cooking surfaces
✓ No synthetic non-stick coatings

Use & Care

Oven Safe up to 500°F (260°C)
Suitable for braising, roasting, baking and other oven cooking up to 500°F (260°C).

Use Low to Medium Heat
Cast iron holds heat very well, so low to medium heat is usually enough for stovetop cooking. Avoid prolonged high heat, especially when the Dutch oven is empty.

No Seasoning Required
The matte black enamel interior is not bare cast iron and does not require seasoning. Wooden, silicone or nylon utensils are recommended to help protect the enamel surface.

Avoid Thermal Shock
Do not add cold water to a very hot Dutch oven. Allow it to cool before washing.

Hand Wash Recommended
Wash with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or non-abrasive brush. For stuck-on food, soak in warm water before cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads.

Use Oven Mitts When Hot
The pot, lid and handles become very hot during cooking. Always use dry oven mitts when handling hot cookware.

How we keep our prices fair

Cookware sold through traditional retail channels can pass through several layers before reaching the customer, including distributors, wholesalers and retailers. Each layer adds its own costs and margin.

We keep our supply chain simpler. We work directly with experienced cast iron manufacturers and sell directly to our customers, without traditional wholesale and retail markups.

By keeping those layers to a minimum, we can offer well-made cast iron cookware without traditional retail mark-ups.

Perfect Pumpkin!

Love how well-made this beautiful Dutch oven is! Enamel is beautiful deep rich green and applied with care. The pot is heavy and completely coated, so cleanup is a breeze. I keep it on our cute green enameled wood stove with water and cinnamon in it to humidify and scent the house. Love the curled metal handle on top. It’s screwed in very securely. This pumpkin is well made and a great value.

Prize Pumpkin

The Flavehc Pumpkin Dutch Oven Pot with Lid is my prize pumpkin. This pot is the ideal size for autumn soups and stews. The enamel is bright and with realistic contour and shading. The interior is cast iron only no enamel and was decently pre-seasoned. The lid is contoured as well and seals perfectly when aligned correctly. The handle is metal and is screwed on tight. It heats evenly with no cold or hot spots as far as i can tell. It works on a glass top electric stove. It looks very pretty on the stove and can be used as a serving vessel with a thick cork trivet. An awesome addition to your spooky season decor.

A very well made Dutch Oven with a fun harvest aesthetic.

This is a heavy piece with the lid weighing nearly as much as the pot itself. The pumpkin stem is firmly attached, and sturdy enough to use to lift the lid. The lid fits snug and tight while echoing the shape of the pot itself. The handles are of a piece with the pot and large enough to allow the safe use of pot holders. The color is deep and rich and beautiful against the color of the stem.As with all well made Dutch Ovens it holds heat superbly and transfers it evenly.Although the asking price seems high, this piece could easily be an heirloom piece. For me the price is more than fair and I'm very happy to have acquired mine.

Heavy and beautiful!

I got this pumpkin shaped cast iron pot with lid in white. Oh my goodness it is so pretty. I actually love cooking in cast iron bake ware. In fact, we use our colbalt blue cast iron baking dish every evening to roast/cook our steak for supper. We just salt and pepper the steak and put it in a 350 degree oven for 21 minutes. The steak is tender and tastes soooooo good. The Hubs has taken on this chore because he didn't believe me about how simple it was to use for steaks. He liked using the George Foreman Grill or the Grill outside. We had run out of butane and I talked him into using the cast iron baking dish. Oh man! If the steak is thin, go 5 min less. If you like rare steak go 5 or so minutes less. It is an easy clean up for the kitchen. Honestly, all we do is put our spices on it and it is set to go. The pumpkin shaped one is amazing as well! Oh man!

Beautiful and heavy duty

Although this is kind of expensive for what it is, it is high quality and very attractive. Great size for a family meal or any gathering. I love the fall look of it and am glad I decided to order it.

Honest Thoughts
Cute sturdy pumpkin

I ordered this cast iron pumpkin in the smaller size, white color. It is so adorable I almost don't know what to do with it. It feels well-made, it's definitely cast iron and very heavy. The pumpkin shape looks awesome. If there is any drawback, it's that the scalloped pumpkin shape means that you have to rotate the lid just right for it to fit on, almost like a real pumpkin you have carved.I am hoping to keep it looking nice, as this will be an amazing piece to serve warm soups or dips. The gold colored handle/stem really just adds a final flair that I just love so far. This is in the category of something nobody needs, but it's so cute I don't care.

A Cozy Addition to My Fall Kitchen

This pumpkin dutch oven is really fun. The moment I set it on the stove, it brings the cozy, warm vibes of the season into my home. I’ve used it recently to make mulled wine, and it was so yummy! And since it looks like a pumpkin, it brings together the other fall decor that I have in my kitchen. The orange color with that golden knob is just perfect, making it not only a functional piece but also a stunning centerpiece. I just adore how cute it looks as part of my autumn decor, adding that extra touch of elegance and warmth to the kitchen to the point that I don't mind leaving on my stove when I'm not using it. It is very heavy since it's cast iron, which I love because it feels solid and reliable, and the heat distribution is spot-on.Cleaning it is also easy; just a quick hand wash (with no soap, obviously) to scrub away the debris, and then it’s ready for the next use. Every so often, I'll throw it on the stove empty to sanitize it and then wipe it down with some olive oil to keep it nice and ready for the next use. It’s def become my go-to for everything now. And since it's fall decor, I can’t wait to bring it out every fall in the years to come.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is the Pumpkin Dutch Oven for Cooking or Mainly for Serving?

It is a fully functional enameled cast iron Dutch oven, not just a serving piece. Use it for soups, stews, braises, casseroles and other everyday cooking, then bring the same pot to the table when you want the pumpkin shape to be part of the presentation.

  • What Can I Cook in a 3.8 qt Pumpkin Dutch Oven?

The 3.8 qt size works well for soups, stews, curries, chilli, casseroles, braised dishes, side dishes and smaller roasts. It is also useful for warm dips and baked dishes when you want to cook and serve from the same pot.

  • How Much Does the 3.8 qt Size Hold?

The Pumpkin Dutch Oven holds 3.8 qt (about 3.6 L). It is a useful size for smaller family meals, dishes for two to four people, or sides for a larger table, without the bulk of a large 5–7 qt Dutch oven.

  • Does the Pumpkin Shape Affect How It Cooks?

The pumpkin shape does not change the basic way you use the pot. It still gives you a heavy cast iron body and fitted lid for covered cooking; the main difference is the sculpted shape, which makes it more suited to oven-to-table serving than a standard round Dutch oven.

  • Can I Use It on the Stovetop and in the Oven?

Yes. You can start a dish on the stovetop and move the Dutch oven into the oven to finish cooking. The cookware is oven safe up to 500°F (260°C).

  • Is the Black Interior Enamel? Do I Need to Season It?

Yes. The matte black interior is enamel, not bare cast iron, so it does not require seasoning. You get the heat retention of cast iron without the seasoning routine required for traditional bare cast iron.

  • Can I Cook Tomato Sauces, Wine Braises or Other Acidic Foods in It?

Yes. The enameled cooking surface is non-reactive, so it is suitable for tomato-based sauces, wine braises and other acidic dishes without the seasoning concerns associated with bare cast iron.

  • Can I Bake Bread in the Pumpkin Dutch Oven?

Yes. Its fitted lid makes it suitable for covered baking, including smaller round loaves and no-knead bread.

If bread is your main reason for buying cast iron, however, a dedicated Bread Oven with a low-profile base is easier for loading and scoring dough. The Pumpkin Dutch Oven is better suited to customers who want a versatile Dutch oven that can also bake bread.

  • Is the Pumpkin Dutch Oven Heavy?

It weighs approximately 11.3 lb (5.1 kg) including the cast iron body and lid. The two side handles give you room for a secure two-handed grip, and oven mitts should always be used when the cookware is hot.
