Safe, Pure & Non-Toxic

Simple Materials, No Synthetic Non-Stick Coatings

Cookware should be made from materials you understand and trust.

Our cookware is made from cast iron, with either an enamel finish or a traditional oil-seasoned cooking surface. We don't use synthetic non-stick coatings.

Enameled Cast Iron

Glass enamel is fused to the cast iron to create a smooth, non-reactive cooking surface that requires no seasoning and is easy to clean.

Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron

Pre-seasoned with 100% vegetable oil and ready to cook with from the start. With regular use and proper care, the seasoning will continue to develop over time.

What You’re Cooking With

✓ Cast iron construction
✓ Enamel or vegetable oil-seasoned cooking surfaces
✓ No synthetic non-stick coatings

Use & Care

Pre-Seasoned & Ready to Bake
Both pans are cast iron pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and ready to use. The seasoning will continue to develop with regular baking and care.

Grease Before Baking
Lightly grease the loaf cavities or muffin cups before adding dough or batter to help with easy release.

Hand Wash & Dry Thoroughly
Wash with warm water and a soft sponge or brush. Mild dish soap can be used as needed. Avoid prolonged soaking and dry both pans completely after washing.

Maintain the Seasoning
If the cast iron begins to look dry or dull, apply a very thin layer of cooking oil after cleaning and drying.

Use Oven Mitts When Hot
The pans and handles remain hot after baking. Always use dry oven mitts when removing or moving them.

How we keep our prices fair

Cookware sold through traditional retail channels can pass through several layers before reaching the customer, including distributors, wholesalers and retailers. Each layer adds its own costs and margin.

We keep our supply chain simpler. We work directly with experienced cast iron manufacturers and sell directly to our customers, without traditional wholesale and retail markups.

By keeping those layers to a minimum, we can offer well-made cast iron cookware without traditional retail mark-ups.

Frequently asked questions

  • What Can I Bake in the Muffin & Loaf Set?

The 12-cup muffin pan works well for muffins, cornbread, egg bites, rolls and other individual bakes. The 8-cavity loaf pan is suited to mini banana breads, quick breads, cornbread, brownies, mini meatloaves and other portion-sized recipes.

  • Why Choose Cast Iron Instead of a Regular Muffin or Loaf Pan?

Cast iron holds a lot of heat once hot, helping create deeper browning and crisp edges around each individual bake. It is also solid, durable bakeware with no synthetic non-stick coating, but it is heavier than conventional metal pans and needs to be greased for good release.

  • Do I Need to Season the Pans Before First Use?

No. Both pans come pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and are ready to use. You do not need to add several layers of seasoning before your first bake, although the seasoning will continue to develop with regular use and proper care.

  • Do I Need to Grease the Cavities Before Baking?

Yes. Pre-seasoned cast iron is not the same as a synthetic non-stick surface. Lightly grease each cavity before adding batter or dough, paying particular attention to the corners and sides of the mini loaf pan.

  • Should I Preheat the Cast Iron Pans Before Adding Batter?

Not for every recipe. Muffins, cakes and quick breads can be baked without preheating the pan. For cornbread, popovers or other recipes where you want a more pronounced crisp edge, preheating the pan before adding the greased batter can help.

  • Can I Use My Usual Muffin and Quick-Bread Recipes?

Yes. Start with the temperature in your usual recipe, but keep an eye on the bake the first time you use cast iron. Mini loaves will usually finish sooner than a full-size loaf, and cast iron can produce stronger browning around the sides and bottom, so check for doneness earlier rather than relying only on the original baking time.

  • What Size Are the Muffin Cups and Mini Loaf Cavities?

The muffin pan has 12 cavities, each approximately 2.75 inches in diameter and 1.2 inches deep. The mini loaf pan has 8 cavities, each approximately 3.5 × 2.2 × 1.5 inches.

  • Can I Use Paper Liners in the Muffin Pan?

Yes. Paper liners can be used in the muffin pan if you prefer easier release and cleanup. If you want the batter to bake directly against the cast iron for more browned edges, grease the cavities well and bake without liners.

  • How Heavy Is the Muffin & Loaf Set?

The two pans weigh approximately 16.3 lb in total. They are solid cast iron bakeware, so they are considerably heavier than aluminium or steel baking tins. Always use dry oven mitts and a secure two-handed grip when moving the pans while hot.
