Great for our sourdough baking, very usable and versatile. Heats up nicely, and the handles make it easier to remove from a hot oven. Just the right size for what we needed.

I love my two Cactus bread ovens, and now that I finally broke the sourdough code, my loaves turn out perfect every time. And this company is wonderful, too. Buy with confidence! By the way, I use both ovens in a standard range oven and both loaves are basically identical.
I just made my first sourdough ever in this pan. I am 70 and have arthritis in my hands/wrists so I was concerned about weight. I managed this pan easily and my bread came out perfect. I highly recommend this pan if you’re serious about making sourdough. I plan to get a rectangular pan as well. Shipping was also a good experience.
