Simple Materials, No Synthetic Non-Stick Coatings
Cookware should be made from materials you understand and trust.
Our cookware is made from cast iron, with either an enamel finish or a traditional oil-seasoned cooking surface. We don't use synthetic non-stick coatings.
Enameled Cast Iron
Glass enamel is fused to the cast iron to create a smooth, non-reactive cooking surface that requires no seasoning and is easy to clean.
Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron
Pre-seasoned with 100% vegetable oil and ready to cook with from the start. With regular use and proper care, the seasoning will continue to develop over time.
What You’re Cooking With

Use & Care
Use & Care
Pre-Seasoned & Ready to Bake
The cast iron is pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and ready to use. The seasoning will continue to develop with regular baking and care.
Grease Before Baking
Lightly grease the loaf cavities before adding dough or batter to help with release after baking.
Hand Wash & Dry Thoroughly
Wash with warm water and a soft sponge or brush. Mild dish soap can be used as needed. Avoid prolonged soaking and dry the pans completely after washing.
Maintain the Seasoning
If the cast iron begins to look dry or dull, wipe on a very thin layer of cooking oil after cleaning and drying.
Use Oven Mitts When Hot
Cast iron stays hot after baking. Always use dry oven mitts when removing or moving the pans.
How we keep our prices fair
How we keep our prices fair
Cookware sold through traditional retail channels can pass through several layers before reaching the customer, including distributors, wholesalers and retailers. Each layer adds its own costs and margin.
We keep our supply chain simpler. We work directly with experienced cast iron manufacturers and sell directly to our customers, without traditional wholesale and retail markups.
By keeping those layers to a minimum, we can offer well-made cast iron cookware without traditional retail mark-ups.

Why You'll Love It
-
16 Individual Bakes at Once
Two eight-cavity pans let you bake up to 16 mini loaves, brownies or other individual portions in one batch.
-
More Browning Around Every Loaf
Cast iron holds heat around each cavity, helping develop deeper colour and more defined edges than you typically get from lightweight bakeware.
-
Pre-Seasoned & Ready to Bake
The cast iron comes pre-seasoned with vegetable oil, so you can start baking without building the seasoning from scratch. Lightly grease the cavities before use to help with release.
Frequently asked questions
What Can I Bake in the Mini Loaf Pans?
Use them for banana bread, quick breads, cornbread, brownies, small yeasted loaves, mini meatloaves and other individual bakes. Each pan has eight cavities, so the set makes up to 16 mini portions at once.
How Big Is Each Mini Loaf?
Each cavity measures approximately 3.5 × 2.2 × 1.5 inches internally. These are true individual portions rather than small versions of a standard 8.5 × 4.5-inch loaf, so they work especially well when you want separate servings, smaller bakes or loaves to share.
Can I Use My Regular Banana Bread or Quick-Bread Recipe?
Yes. You can use your usual batter, but mini loaves generally bake faster than a full-size loaf, so start checking them earlier rather than using the original baking time unchanged. The exact time will depend on your recipe, how full the cavities are and your oven. King Arthur recipes likewise use substantially shorter baking times when the same type of batter is divided into mini loaves.
How Full Should I Fill Each Cavity?
For most quick breads and cakes, around two-thirds to three-quarters full is a useful starting point, leaving room for the batter to rise. For yeasted bread, follow your recipe's proofing cues rather than using the same fill rule, since different doughs rise very differently.
Do I Need to Grease the Pans Before Baking?
Yes. The pans are pre-seasoned, but pre-seasoned cast iron is not the same as a synthetic non-stick surface. Lightly grease the bottom, sides and corners of each cavity before adding batter or dough to help with release. Lodge gives the same advice for seasoned cast iron bakeware.
Do I Need to Preheat the Cast Iron Pans?
Not for most cakes, banana breads or other quick breads; you can fill the prepared pans at room temperature and place them into a preheated oven. Preheating can be useful for recipes such as cornbread when you specifically want a crisper, more browned crust, but it is not a rule for every bake.
Do I Need to Season Them Before First Use?
No. The pans arrive pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and are ready to use. After washing, dry them thoroughly and apply a very thin layer of cooking oil when the surface begins to look dry; the seasoning will continue to develop with regular use.
Why Choose Cast Iron Instead of a Regular Mini Loaf Pan?
Cast iron has high thermal mass and holds heat well once hot, which can give the sides and edges of individual bakes stronger browning and a more pronounced crust. It is also solid bakeware with no synthetic non-stick coating, but the trade-off is more weight and the need to grease and care for the seasoned surface.
How Heavy Is the Set?
The two pans weigh approximately 16 lb in total. They are substantially heavier than typical aluminium or steel mini loaf pans, so use dry oven mitts and a secure two-handed grip when moving them while hot.
