Simple Materials, No Synthetic Non-Stick Coatings
Cookware should be made from materials you understand and trust.
Our cookware is made from cast iron, with either an enamel finish or a traditional oil-seasoned cooking surface. We don't use synthetic non-stick coatings.
Enameled Cast Iron
Glass enamel is fused to the cast iron to create a smooth, non-reactive cooking surface that requires no seasoning and is easy to clean.
Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron
Pre-seasoned with 100% vegetable oil and ready to cook with from the start. With regular use and proper care, the seasoning will continue to develop over time.
What You’re Cooking With

✓ Enamel or vegetable oil-seasoned cooking surfaces

Use & Care
Use & Care
Pre-Seasoned & Ready to Bake
The cast iron is pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and ready to use. The seasoning will continue to improve with regular baking and care.
Grease the Cups Before Baking
Lightly grease each muffin cup before adding batter to help baked goods release more easily.
Hand Wash & Dry Thoroughly
Wash with warm water and a soft sponge or brush, paying attention to the corners of each cup. Mild dish soap can be used as needed. Avoid prolonged soaking and dry the pan completely.
Maintain the Seasoning
If the surface begins to look dry, apply a very thin layer of cooking oil after cleaning and drying.
Use Oven Mitts When Hot
The pan and handles remain hot after baking. Always use dry oven mitts when removing it from the oven.
How we keep our prices fair
How we keep our prices fair
Cookware sold through traditional retail channels can pass through several layers before reaching the customer, including distributors, wholesalers and retailers. Each layer adds its own costs and margin.
We keep our supply chain simpler. We work directly with experienced cast iron manufacturers and sell directly to our customers, without traditional wholesale and retail markups.
By keeping those layers to a minimum, we can offer well-made cast iron cookware without traditional retail mark-ups.

These are the real deal! They’re excellent so far, they come pre seasoned so all I did was wash, dry, and lightly oil them. I can attest they are not nonstick. Maybe Pam, maybe an old fashioned butter rub would do it, I don’t know but of course cast iron isn’t known for being non stick. I made cupcakes and though they came out in pieces, they baked evenly so, that’s great. It did take a bit longer than with a typical cupcake pan and they were a bit little dry so maybe lower the temp when baking in this. It’s heavy. I knew it would be but it’s not the pan you pull out of the oven with one hand for sure. I love it! It comes with a care sheet which is cool because before my husband told me, I had no idea cast iron pots had so many rules and this one is no exception so I’m sure with proper care and treatment this thing will be baking many years from now. I got the 2 muffin pans so when we do multiple flavors we can bake both at the same time. I’m pretty excited to try cornbread in it!
Fantastic quality and non toxic! Love it!

Frequently asked questions
What Can I Bake in the Cast Iron Muffin Pans?
Use them for muffins, cornbread, cupcakes, egg bites, Yorkshire puddings, rolls and other individual bakes. With two 12-cup pans, you can make up to 24 portions in one batch.
How Big Are the Muffin Cups?
Each cup measures approximately 2.75 inches across the top and 1.2 inches deep. The set includes two 12-cup pans for a total of 24 muffin cups.
Can I Use My Regular Muffin or Cupcake Recipe?
Yes. Start with the temperature and batter amount in your usual recipe. Cast iron behaves differently from lightweight metal bakeware, so check for doneness around the usual baking time the first time you use the pans and adjust from there.
Do I Need to Preheat the Muffin Pans?
Not for most muffins or cupcakes. You can grease the room-temperature pans, add the batter and place them into a preheated oven.
Some recipes, such as cornbread, popovers or Yorkshire puddings, may call for a preheated pan when a crisper crust or rapid initial rise is part of the method. Lodge itself preheats its cast iron muffin pans for popovers, which is a good example of why this depends on the recipe rather than the pan alone.
How Do I Keep Muffins from Sticking?
Lightly grease the bottom and sides of each cup before adding batter. Pre-seasoned cast iron is not the same as a synthetic non-stick coating, so proper greasing is still important.
If your recipe is prone to sticking, allow the muffins to settle briefly after baking, then remove them before they sit in the hot cast iron for too long. Sticking and release are among the most common real-world questions from new cast iron muffin-pan users.
Can I Use Paper Muffin Liners?
Yes. Standard paper liners can be used if they fit your recipe and the cups.
For more direct contact with the cast iron and stronger browning around the sides, grease the cups and bake without liners.
Do I Need to Season the Pans Before First Use?
No. The pans are already pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and are ready to use.
After washing, dry them thoroughly and apply a very thin layer of cooking oil when the surface begins to look dry.
Why Choose Cast Iron Instead of a Regular Muffin Pan?
Cast iron holds a lot of heat once hot, which can produce stronger browning and more pronounced edges around muffins and cornbread.
The trade-off is weight and a little more care than conventional metal bakeware, so this is best for bakers who specifically value the baking characteristics of cast iron rather than simply wanting the lightest or easiest muffin tin.
How Heavy Are the Muffin Pans?
The set of two weighs approximately 16.3 lb in total. They are solid cast iron and considerably heavier than typical aluminium or steel muffin pans, so use dry oven mitts and a secure two-handed grip when moving them while hot.
