Simple Materials, No Synthetic Non-Stick Coatings
Cookware should be made from materials you understand and trust.
Our cookware is made from cast iron, with either an enamel finish or a traditional oil-seasoned cooking surface. We don't use synthetic non-stick coatings.
Enameled Cast Iron
Glass enamel is fused to the cast iron to create a smooth, non-reactive cooking surface that requires no seasoning and is easy to clean.
Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron
Pre-seasoned with 100% vegetable oil and ready to cook with from the start. With regular use and proper care, the seasoning will continue to develop over time.
What You’re Cooking With

✓ Enamel or vegetable oil-seasoned cooking surfaces

Use & Care
Use & Care
Heat Management
- Use Low to Medium Heat: Cast iron holds heat well, so high heat is rarely needed for everyday cooking. Start with a lower setting and allow the pan to heat gradually. This also helps reduce sticking and prevents food from burning.
Utensils
- Enameled Cast Iron: Use wood, silicone or nylon utensils to help prevent scratches. Avoid sharp-edged metal tools.
- Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron: Metal utensils are generally fine to use. Avoid cutting directly in the pan or striking the cooking surface with sharp tools.
Cleaning & Care
- Enameled Cast Iron: Wash with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or non-abrasive brush. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads that may damage the enamel.
- Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron: Wash and dry thoroughly after use. Do not leave the cookware soaking in water. Once dry, apply a very light coating of cooking oil before storing if needed.
Oven Use
- Oven Safe to 500°F (260°C): Suitable for baking, roasting and slow cooking.
- Avoid Sudden Temperature Changes: Allow hot cookware to cool before adding cold water. Avoid moving cookware directly between very hot and very cold environments.
How we keep our prices fair
How we keep our prices fair
Cookware sold through traditional retail channels can pass through several layers before reaching the customer, including distributors, wholesalers and retailers. Each layer adds its own costs and margin.
We keep our supply chain simpler. We work directly with experienced cast iron manufacturers and sell directly to our customers, without traditional wholesale and retail markups.
By keeping those layers to a minimum, we can offer well-made cast iron cookware without traditional retail mark-ups.

Why You'll Love It
-
Smooth Enamel, No Seasoning
The smooth enamel cooking surface requires no seasoning, while the matte black enamel exterior keeps the traditional cauldron look.
-
Flat Bottom for Stovetop Cooking
The flat-bottom design makes the cauldron practical for everyday stovetop cooking, without the three-leg base of a traditional potjie.
-
Fitted Lid for Slow Cooking
The fitted cast iron lid helps retain heat and moisture while soups, stews, chili and braises cook.
